THE STARE

A stare is an expression that can evoke feelings of confrontation, melancholy or contemplation among many others. A straight on photograph of a subject “staring you down” is both invigorating and intimidating. A glance or contemplative musing conjures deeper feelings and evokes strong emotional reactions.
